  1. In the search bar, next to your start menu, search for "Control Panel" and launch it.

  2. Inside the Control Panel, click "View devices and printers" under the "Hardware and Sound" category. In the Devices and Printers window, click "Add a printer".

  3. Once you click "Add a Printer", your computer will automatically search for any that are available. Ignore these, and click "The printer I want isn't listed" at the bottom of the window. The Add Printer window will open, select the 4th option to "Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname" and click next.

  4. Leave Device Type on Autodetect and enter the printer's IP information, leaving the "Port Name" field as is. Click next when finished and Windows will begin setting up the printer.

  5. Once Windows identifies the device it will ask you to name the printer. Give it a descriptive name, choose not to share it with other computers on the network and you should be given the option to print a test page. If the test page prints successfully your printer is ready for use! If there are any errors or the test page doesn't print correctly, please restart both your computer and the printer. If the issue persists, please contact the help desk.
