Blackboard Collaborate is UGA's current online collaborative learning solution. Collaborate sessions can be setup and accessed inside and outside eLC by UGA users enrolled in courses, UGA users not enrolled in courses, and non-UGA users depending on the settings and permissions. Users may participate in live Collaborate sessions via computer, mobile device, or phone. Blackboard Collaborate also includes an archive feature that allows both audio and video recordings to be created for reviewing 15-30 minutes after a live session has ended.
This tutorial covers how to upload a PowerPoint presentation into a Blackboard Collaborate session.
Step 1: Load Content
Click the Load Content button in the Collaboration toolbar to open the Load File dialog.
Step 2: Select File
Select the desired file and click Open.
You may be prompted to select the converter you want to use to import the presentation. If so, select Import Presentation with PowerPoint and click Load.
Blackboard will convert the PowerPoint file into a Whiteboard file.
Step 3: Page Explorer
When conversion is complete, the Page Explorer will open automatically.
Each slide in the presentation is represented as a page in the explorer.
Click and drag to reorder pages, right click to cut, copy, paste and delete.
Use the navigation arrows to move sequentially forward and back through the pages of the presentation.
